Many of the Tech Talk regulars upgrade our computers frequently. Many of the parts that we see as obsolete are very useful for people who do not feel the un-natural urge to remain on the bleeding edge of technological advancement. These parts are probably just sitting around on shelves somewhere, gathering dust. They would be much better off being part of a TTC.
A TT computer is generally created entirely out of donated parts and donated to people who could do with a computer. There are a great deal of people who should have a computer but just cannot afford one.
If you have parts to donate, please post a message on the forum and someone will respond. If you would like to nominate a recipient for a TTC, please post a message on the forum and someone will respond. If you want the person to remain anonymous, say that in the posting and the discussion can be moved to e-mail or telephone if need be.
