Some questions come up on Tech Talk again and again and again and…well you get the picture. Some questions come up once a year, and the second time you see the question you think “I know this question was answered really well last time, I just can't find the original thread!”. This is the place for summarising any thread that has been answered well and which might be useful in the future.
When choosing questions to summarise here, please bear in mind the shelf-life of the information: The answer to “What's the best value processor for a budget gaming machine?” is likely to change every month, if not more often, so it's probably not worth archiving here. The answer to “In MS Word, how do I make it show the outlines of the cells of a table even when the table's border is invisible?” probably won't change that much, so it's probably a good candidate for inclusion.
Lastly, try to avoid duplicating information from other parts of the Wiki - for example the answer for “What kind of software can I use for image manipulation?” is actively maintained over in the Favourite Software section, so it probably doesn't need to be here and if it is here the answer should probably be little more than a link to the appropriate section of Favourite Software.
